Here’s a little piece based around some of the oral history interviews I conducted for the history of Main Roads Western Australia in the 1990s. I guess this was written in the early 2000s but I have no idea why I wrote it or who for. Still, it is an interesting read that hints at some of the very interesting material I collected about road making in the north west of Western Australia. I guess the interviews are still in the Battye Library of Western Australian history where you can listen to them.
